Ok I just got my dress...I am a tall girl... I wont be able to wear much of a heel. All of the heels I have seen that were low are so ugly lol... Any ideas what to do?

Re: height of shoes Dilemma!!!
I cant wear high heels either because I have flat feet so they start to ache and I don't want to be miserable. In the long run, no one is really going to see my shoes. The front part by my toes is pretty but if you see the whole shoe on my foot its blah. I just don't care. I'd rather be having fun!

i say screw it and flaunt your tallness lol and wear whatever shoes you want. Most of my friends are tall and they all wear high heels, one of them wears higher heels than most girls and looks great with her real long legs lol

Why don't you buy the shoe that you like and then take it to the Shoe Repair people and have them cut the heel down.

I'm tall too, and I'm using the model Andie from Coloriffics...they're not ugly, and it's a very minimal heel. It's not even so much that I'm tall, it's that I'm taller than FH, so I really can't wear heels.

I'm only 5'1 I love wearing heels but the day of my wedding I want to get a low heel only because I want a ball gown dress and we'll be doing alot of walking, dancing ect.. and I have a fear of tripping and falling lol.

Re: height of shoes Dilemma!!!
Im tall too and I was having the same exact problem!!! =)) Good to know I wasnt the only one. My thing was I didnt want to be taller than FH and I didnt want to end up having my dress be too short. PLUS I didnt want to be uncomfortable all night.
I got a 2.5 inch heel on my shoe and it worked out perfectly...
Would 2.5 inches be too tall still? Cause I had the problem that the shorter heeled shoes were very plain and ugly...
And I wouldnt cut the heel because you can really mess up a shoe that way and it will throw the whole shoe arch off...
Your other option is to by a plain shoe but add something to it yourself. Like a flower on the front or rhinestones? =))
I got my shoes at dyeableshoestore.com. Great selection and price! =)

Re: height of shoes Dilemma!!!
I found cute, low-heeled shoes at Bridal Shoe Boutique in Westbury. I'm 4'11 so being too tall wan't my issue; I just wanted to be able to dance all night.
