Re: height problems
DH and I are about the same height and I just wore the 3 inch heals afterwards I took off my shoes so it wasnt a big deal for us.
i think they have inserts that you can slip into his shoes
Wow we are date twins. I have not seen a date twin on this site yet. Congrats.

LOL - agreed. FH and I are both the exact same height at 6ft. I am going to probably wear ballet flats or a 1inch heel for the ceremony - then switching to the ever so classy flip flop during the reception... Hopefully we'll be able to get FH a shoe with a larger heel or inserts!

Re: height problems
I'm about 4 inches taller than FH on a good day....he says he's 5'6', but I'm not too clear on that. Regardless, I'm wearing very low kitten heels for ceremony, and slippers for reception...and he can deal with it. If he has that big of a problem with it, he can get lifts, or not marry me. There's nothing I can do to make myself shorter, nor would I want to. I'm just not going to exacerbate it with 4 inch heels.
