Ok, so I'm 625 days away from my wedding, so I obviously have some time but I found a Maggie dress I'm IN LOVE with. Bridal Reflections in Massapequa is having her trunk sale March 30 - April 1, so I'm thinking about checking it out to see if the dresses I like work. I'm 5'4' and am slightly concerned about being too short to pull this dress off. I don't want to wear huge heals for my wedding (probably 3 - 4 in tops), so I don't want to count on the extra height to make it work... What do you ladies think?
Gorgeous dress! I think it will look fine. Can you try the dresses on at trunk shows so you can be sure?

I'm not sure! I wasn't planning on looking before the summer, but now I'm tempted. I know everyone talks about what good prices the Maggie dresses are, but I know this is at the top end of her prices... Ugh, decisions decisions lol

When I got my maggie dress they had to measure my height because the style came in a petite size as well. I'm not sure if this is the case for all her dresses or just certain styles (mine has a trim around the bottom which is hard to alter so I'm not sure if that's why they had to measure my height)

Maybe call where they are having the trunk show and ask if trying on dresses is allowed. I can't imagine it isn't though. If for some reason it isn't, then maybe set up some appts for bridal salons that carry that dress (or others maggie dresss you may be interested in) that way if you fall in love with something you know exactly what you want and can just grab and buy it at the trunk show!

I've been thinking the same, I am 5'3 and am in love with so many maggie dresses that look similar to that..I think you definitely need to try on whatever it is and see because you never know, but I feel like there are millions of short brides that wear these dresses and look great so I'm sure you will look awesome in it!! such a beautiful dress!
My FH is 6'4 I am gunna have to wear like 1 foot heels HAHA

I think you will be fine,during trunk shows they allow you to try on the dress. I know Bridal reflections require an appt to attend their trunk shows..... Maybe they can take in the length.

From what I have seen they run about $600 - $1500. This one is at the higher end of that. It's a little more than I wanted to spend, but if I try it on and love it then I'll find a way to make it work!

You are definitely NOT too short and I think that dress is gorgeous. You should absolutely go to the Maggie trunk show, it doesnt matter how early I am getting married in December and I am going to start looking in April because I cant wait anymore lol
