Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllo out there

Just wondering what the nicest/most thoughtful gift you have recieved/ seen given at a shower. I have my friends sisters coming up and I am stumped! I want to give something memorable and sweet

I just went a friend's shower and her bridesmaids are her friends from college. They made her a memory jar. It had 30 memories in it so each day the month before her wedding she is supposed to read a memory to take her mind off wedding stress. The bridesmaids also had her mother, sisters and her FH place memories in the jar. I though it was a very thoughtful gift. They also gave her things off her registry but I thought this was a nice idea.

I always like to get the personalized blankets from Things Remembered... sometimes I will also get one of the little albums and have them put 'Blah Blahs Bridal Shower' and the date, or a nice frame with their names and wedding date... I just feel like its more personal than buying off of a registry (although now I am more prone to buying off of one since I have my own!) :)

One of my friends who is super talented actually created a quilt using pictures of the couple each as children and then as they were older and dating. (She had gotten some sort of printer thing that allowed you to scan photos and then iron the printout onto the fabric).

I dont know how crafty you are but for one of my aunts showers (this was awhile ago) each family member made a quilt square and her mother assembled a very large quilt for her.
