Hello!
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to post for a couple of reasons as I have not been doing so for awhile now.
First and foremost, with only 2 weeks to go I can not believe the amount of stress and emotions I am having! I never thought I would be so emotional about everything but I am, lol. I wanted to thank all the girls so much on here (the 05ers!) for all the great ideas, support and advice for the last year. I really do appreciate it.
Secondly, I just wanted to post something that was of concern to me. The reason why I pretty much went off the board is because, awhile back I had posted some concerns I was having with my reception hall. It was basically a vent because I was worried- they were doing some renovations and I was afraid it would interfere with my wedding. Well, my 'vent' was printed off this site and shown to my wedding coordinator by another bride. Unfortunately, the second post I had written complimented my wedding coordinator, but that was not shown to her- only my negative one. I can totally understand if this bride was thinking of having her wedding at the same place and wanted to ensure she didn't have any problems, however it made things quite uncomfortable for me when my wedding coordinator showed me my post printed out. I am not going to say who the bride is, as I do not want to cause trouble. I am just making sure that everyone else is aware that this could happen to you as well and I guess we all have to be careful. I should have realized this is an open forum and anything can happen, however I always felt comfortable just posting ideas, info, and of course vents here. I hold nothing against anyone, but it just kind of put a bad taste in my mouth.
I hope everyone who has gotten married the last several weeks had a wonderful time! I'm sure everyone looked beautiful.
Good luck to everyone with upcoming weddings!!
And thank you so much again for everyone's wonderful ideas- the sign in platter, wishing bowl, collage, OOT baskets, slipper baskets, cry packets, etc. Never would have thought of any of those on my own!
Best Wishes,
Donna
