I know it's been a long time since I have posted anything. It's been difficult going from under 100 days til your wedding to not knowing if, or when you are going to get married at all. But I did have a question I hope you all can help me answer.
Here's the situation: I bought my dress. I paid for it in full and just last weekend picked it up from Macy's. I had ordered the dress thinking my wedding would be this summer even though I wasn't truly, madly, deeply in love with it. I thought the dress I really loved was too expensive and I didn't think I had enough time to continue looking.
Come to find out, the dress I really loved can be found for only slightly more than what I paid for mine. Now the question is, do I keep the dress I bought but don't love, or do I sell it for possibly way less than I bought it for and get the dress I love when the time comes?
Any advice or thoughts would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!

Re: Hello again!
get the one you want. You are going through so much and when this day comes you deserve to have everything you want. In my opinion the dress makes the bride so if you know the one you want get it. Worry about the other one later.

Re: Hello again!
If you don't really love the dress and like something else, I would try to sell it!

Re: Hello again!
Its good to see you back! If you truly don't love the dress then try and sell it, you won't be able to get all of it back, but maybe a good chunk!

Re: Hello again!
coming from a girl who has bought two dresses, i went through these same crazy thoughts...i went from hating my dress...not even wanting to try it on...to the craziness of SECRETLY going to another bridal salon ALONE lol (you can imagine how much i was thinking of this to actually go alone to try on dresses)...at that salon i found 5 other dresses that i liked better then mine, and THE ONE that i LOVED!!!...i knew that if i even liked 5 better then mine, and LOVED another ( i mean love like i couldnt stop thinking of it for a second, and i never felt this way about the original one) i knew i had to buy both!!! expensive endeavor but well worth it...!

Re: Hello again!
Thank you all so much! I finally decided to go ahead and research the dress I really want. Even if I don't get all the $$ Back on the first one, I think I can still afford 'The One'.
Thanks again!

Re: Hello again!
Go with the one you love - try selling the dress back to Macy's sicne it's never been worn, ask if they could try to sell it there, or there is always e-bay!
