Hello all Long Island Brides (HELP PLEASE)

Hi I am trying to plan a long distance wedding from Boca Raton fl for next summer or early fall. We are coming up to look at places in October. Right now I REALLY like the idea of having my wedding in a mansion type venue, but planning this from the internet is really hard so that's where you guys come please make some suggestions so I can narrow down my list! The woodlands looks really nice. Also we have a tentative guest list of 165. THANK YOU!!!

Check out Lessing's, a lot of their venues have the mansion feel and great food! I looked at Timber Point Mansion & the Mansion at West Sayville (I also have quotes for them if you'd like them). Lessing's also has the Bourne Mansion, Three Village Inn, and the Chateau at Coindre Hall. I'm getting married at the Bellport Country Club (not sure if you would be interested in that quote as well).

There's also the Glen Cove Mansion, but I'm not sure the price range on that.

I would e-mail a bunch of places to see if they have your date open since summer/early fall are prime wedding times on LI.

Check out Westbury Manor too! We ended up there because we wanted that mansion feel, but with a price point we could afford!

I know how it feels to be planning from far away, I live in Seattle, and I booked Insignia. It is absolutely beautiful and best of all Keri the event coordinator is amazingly helpful and totally put me at ease that I wouldn't even need a wedding planner as they provide so much and have such a great list of vendors that they work with. Highly recommend them!! Let me know if you want more details!

Try Stonebridge country club in smithtown although it's not a mansion it's very beautiful..I did look at all the places mentioned above timberpoint coindre Hall, bourne mansion and still felt Stonebridge was the best fit for us and I originally wanted to get married in a mansion too..good luck

I'm booked at Bridgeview Yacht Club which doesn't really have that mansion feel, but I've heard nothing but good things about Westbury Manor. I'm going to a wedding there this May and my friend who is booked there LOVES it.
