hello lovies!
i'm back from New Orleans, FINALLY!
and theres news on the man-front. lol
he FINALLLLLLY opened up yesterday, telling me why hes a jerk sometimes... its the SWEETEST most amazing thing i've ever heard.
he picked me up from the airport (yesterday was a god-awful day, the flight was terrible, then his battery died) so anyway, he picked me up and we went out to dinner...
we were both a little cranky because of the bad days we had, but being with each other made it much better.. but then at the restaurant he was throwing out these like snotty comments...
at the end of dinner hes like 'so lets go watch a movie at my house' and i was like 'youre gonna have to stop being a nasty mcnasty if you want that to happen...'
so we laughed and then walked to the car. he started the car (yay it actually started this time) and then he goes 'ok, i have to say something.' so like every girl, my insides start racing like 'omg hes breaking up with me this isnt good' so i was like 'ummm okay...'
so he starts with 'i really really like you.' and i was like sugar honey iced tea because thats how break ups always start... and then he was like 'and i know you want to move to florida in a few months... but its gonna be really hard for me to say goodbye to you, so i figure if im an a-hole sometimes it might be easier...'
so i was like 'how the holy hell would it make it easier? dont you think im feeling the same way... why cant we just enjoy what we have for the next few months'
and he was like 'what youre saying makes complete and total sense, but i really really really like you, and i really really like you more every time i see you, its going to be really hard.'
so then he promised not to be a **** anymore, and so far its definitely working... it was so different last night. he was like kissing my forehead and holding my hand and all this cute stuff that he never really did before..
so then i grew a set and started with 'so is that why you dont kiss me hello and goodbye?' and he looked at me and nodded his head,.. it was ADORABLE.
and then i said well, im basically going through the same thing that you are. my friends ask if youre my boyfriend and i never know what to say because we never talked about it... and he said that his friends do the same thing to him, and i think we've settled on boyfriend and girlfriend now. lol.
yayyyyy good night last night. sorry this was so long! i had to tell someone!
