Re: Hello Night Ladies..............

Yes I am, but I'm doing a very modified version of it. It seems as if I can't get my body in sync. First I had a cold for over a week, then I started the program and was doing great for a week. Then I ate onions one day, which I am allergic to and I couldn't stick with it for a couple of days. Now I hurt my thumb and can't get into the workouts. I'm hoping by next week I'll be 100%.

Still with all of that I managed to lose about 3 pounds on it. Thanks for asking. How about you, did you decide to do it?

Re: Hello Night Ladies..............

Bill Phillips who's a body builder came up with it. here's a copy from a post I made a couple of months on it...

Basically how it works is there's two parts to it: eating and fitness.

Eating:

You eat 5-6 meals a day, all small portions (about the size of the palm of your hand). Each meal you have 1 portion of protein and 1 portion of carbs. At least 2 meals out of the day you have a portion of veggies. There are authorized foods that you are allowed to have. For example, in protein you can have lean beef, chicken, shrimp, tuna, cottage cheese, egg whites, etc. In carbs your allowed a baked potato, wheat bread, brown rice, corn, oatmeal, apples, melon, etc. Veggies are carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, brocolli, onion, etc. There's a very long list of foods, that's just some of them.

He also recommends drinking myoplex shakes as a meal supplement 2 times a day. Mostly because they give you vitamins and minerals that you might be missing out on. They are also packed with protein so it will help build muscle, which then burns fat.

Working out:

Work out 6 times a week. Three days of weights, 3 days of 20 minute cardio sessions. You alternate each day. On a monday I would do upperbody weights, tuesday cardio, Wed lowerbody weights, thursday cardio, fri upperbody, sat cardio. Then on the following monday you start off with the lower workout so you get that in twice that week.

One day out of each week is a free day where you are allowed to eat WHATEVER you want. And I mean whatever you want and you can have as much of it as you want. I really think this is the key to the diet because you get all of your cravings out in one day. You also don't workout on this day so your muscles have time to rest.

I highly recommend this programs for anyone who is organized and willing to do all of the workouts. It really helped me a lot and got me into a whole different mind frame. As far as the shakes went, sometimes I had one or two a day, other days went by when I didn't have any. You also have to drink 8-10 glasses of water each day and if you drink something other than water you have to add on an additional glass of water.
