Hello Vineyard / Northfork Brides!!!!!!

Hi,

Just thought we should start our own thread. Let's introduce ourselves and share thoughts/ ideas about our Vineyard / Northfork wedding.

I was married at Vineyard Caterers in September and my husband and I love the area so I do not quite a bit about the east end (My husband's dad grew up in Riverhead).

There is one vineyard that I know of that has water on the property and that is Old field vineyards.

As an idea, we did go to a state park and took pictures after our wedding on the beach (it was about 5 miles from Vineyard Caterers in Aquebogue).

Hi everyone! We are just in the beginning stages of planning our vineyard wedding. Someone on the 07 boards just posted that a new law went into effect prohibiting alcohol at vineyard events. Have you guys heard about this? So you can only have wine served at the party. I'm not sure about vineyard caterers since it's techinically a 'catering' facility set on a vineyard.

But that's what's great about it because you are not paying a site fee, they serve liquor, everything is included and the price is extremely reasonable. You in no way get that 'catering facility' feel when you are there. It is a very different kind of place.
