Hey, Bonnie, Mom is going to have neck injections again this week, only under IV sedation; It's a diagnostic tool to pinpoint her pain area; Then, she will get a permanent injection, burning the nerve ends that are affected, that is if she gives permission for that!!!! Scary kinda!!!! Mary MOB

Hey, Bonnie, Mom is going to have neck injections again this week, only under IV sedation; It's a diagnostic tool to pinpoint her pain area; Then, she will get a permanent injection, burning the nerve ends that are affected, that is if she gives permission for that!!!! Scary kinda!!!! Mary MOB


Ohh that is scary. And it's a shame that she has to go through all of this. I hate that she's in pain! My thoughts and prayers are with you guys. What does she say about this? Is she nervous? Scared?

Appreciate that, Bonnie!!! She doesn't know about the cauterization yet. I'm concerned she's gonna give a big 'No!!!!!' to that!!!! I just found out when the surgical nurse called me to get her preop info. Mary MOB

My concern is burning the wrong nerve ends!!!!

Hey Mary,
I have had a few temporary nerve blocks for migraine headaches. It is a little painful but it is worth the relief. At least your mom will be sedated they do mine while I am awake I will keep you guys in my prayers this week!

me too I miss this board. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to change my date from this year to nxt year

Good morning, Samantha!!!! Really? Sorry to hear that!!!! Wow, your migraines must have been bad, to have this procedure!!! My Mom has a painful time lying either facedown, or faceup, because of osteoporosis, and her degenerative arthritic neck; Therefore the sedation, and I really pray they can make her comfortable !!!!!
