HELLOOOOOO!!!! Sooooo worn out... Checking in! UPDATE 3/1
Sooo ladies... I'm sorry if I've been M..I...A lately. I don't even know if I have. It feels like forever since I've been on a lot, but it could only be 2 days. FH completes his move into our new apt today. He's getting the rest of the odds and ends from the old place and handing in the keys. I am feeling so so so so tired. We were up late so many nights packing..The move was a total sh!t show. The movers were supposed to be done by 10pm at the latest...they weren't out until 2:30am..making insane noise on our new street. Our new neighbors must love us. And our landlords live upstairs and heard it all. AUGH. Also, the cops came...I got stuck in the apt because of a defective lock, and realized there was construction dust on everything, so there was a lot more cleaning than I thought..I hurt..I huuuuurt.
But the new apt is beautiful and now that FH is in, we have a few months to get everything set up. He's having a minor breakdown because the huge sectional sofa (which I begged him NOT to buy years ago knowing that it may not fit wherever we moves) does not fit, so we have to let go of part of it..and FH LOVES that couch.
What else? I figured out when my shower is (people in my family are so bad at being sneaky), and I am so grateful that I am having one, but I'm bummed about a few things. I know my family didn't order enough invitations. they ordered 65 because the room holds 50 (FH told me this), but I know there will be a lot of no shows so I think there will be like 3 people there. My cousin slipped and said my aunt won't be there. I know my other aunt won't be there because she lives in CO. And I cried yesterday thinking none of my aunts will be there. My FSIL is having a baby shower THE SAME DAY as my shower. Apparently that's my FMILs fault because she OKed the date. FSIL said her shower is just for friends and she won't invite any family, but the whole thing is very very weird. I don't know. STRESSSSS...and I feel I'm so far behind on planning. I need to get a headpiece and DOJ and change my shoes, and figure out programs, favors, etc etc
UPDATE: OMG so we didn't get done until 4am. There was so much crap left at the old apt. my FH's old place had a TON of storage so basically everything my mom didn't want to store anymore got sent there. I threw away my Barbie Dream house![]()
hehe it's so huge. I also found (and kept..maybe I can sell them) my NKOTB dolls. LOL. A lot of stuff got water damaged...messy work. ewwies.
AAAND FH had to start a new job this morning. I was running around in boxes trying to find his clothes, shampoo, razors, etc for today at 4am before I went home. The good news is that he did make it work on time. He can just pass out tonight. i just feel bad.
