HELLPPPPP...How many invitations do I need??

I'm sooooo confused! Please correct me if I'm wrong...We have to guarantee 175 people, so we will be inviting around 220 people? (does that sound right?)
How many invites should I order? Is 120 enough? Thanks in advance gals!

you should count how many invitations you'll definitely need ... then add an extra 20 or so just in case.

120 total is about right if you have mostly couples. But if you have many single people invited, that might not be enough.

i agree, about 120 sounds right unless you have a bunch of single people

This. Your best bet is to put together your guest list and then count them up.

Should I order 125 just to be safe? It's about a 35 dollar difference.

It depends. Make a guest list. Count how many you need by using that, and then add an extra 20 just in case.

i actually wrote out on an excel sheet how it would be addressed so i could count how many i needed-and then ordered a few extra. I wouldn't guess

Make a list and count how many you need basically.

It is SO much less expensive to order extras when you're first ordering than to order more later on. If it's between having 5 extra and having 30 extra, get the 30 extra.

We had a 100 person minimum, invited 176 people and I had 125 invitations with some leftover. (We had a LOT of singles invited.) I think you're going to need more than 125.

I also had to guarantee 175 and invited 220...we ended up ordering 150 invites because FH has a lot of single friends, but it was WAY too many. I would say 120 should be good.

Depends if you have couples, singles, or families. Make a list of who will be on each invitation and then just count it up. I think that is the only really accurate way.

The FH is slacking on his list!!! He is slowing up the process and I need to send in a deposit for the invites!!

....thanks girls. Most of our guests are couples so I am thinking 120 would be enough..crossing my fingers it will be!
