Help 08ers!! tell me some AWESOME Japanese Steak houses!

Looking for a new, fun, and GOOD Japanese steak house [other than Benihana's] for my BM's bday this weekend!

Preferably a hibachi restaurant rather than a regular restaurant!!!

and then Sapporo in Seaford on Merrick Rd...never been there though...

right by mulchayes

is the absolute best japanese steakhouse
it literally blows bennihana out of the water, the food is so fresh, and just prepared so amazing!!

The owner is always there and hes sooo nice!!!!

we are going for hibachi tonight w a group of friends!!

we usually go to shiros in westbury...but tonight we're going somewhere else that FH said is even better...which is tough to imagine b/c shiros is SOOOOO good!

i can't remember the name of the place he said we're going....hmmmmph...

i'll get back to you later when he calls!!

tomo hibachi in huntington is great! and then you can bar hop around town! its a really nice town. tons of bars and lots of people! the number is 631-271-6666

there is a really good one on franklin ave in Garden City i forget the name i can find out for u if you want

and there is also a good one in Bayside i think on bell blvd...also dont know the name!

Hibachi is great!! i might go for hibachi sat. night to the one in bayside actually.

Go to Tomos! They are the best! They will have your table ready if you make a reseravation and it is always a good time. As SugaBeans also said, there are a TON of bars and things to do in Huntington all within walking distance.

There is an awsome Japanese BBQ place in the city, if you don't mind traveling there. The name is Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ. Take a look at them on city search, I think they have a website too. I threw a 3 person birthday there and everyone loved it.

Hmmm ive never heard of japanese bbq, ive heard of korean bbq though.
