I need some advice from the ladies on a budget- I want a good photo-video-dj but i start adding up and i get aggravated i have to stay in my budget and ideas????

You can also check out Douglaston Manor in Queens. They were very reasonable.

Check out Duet Wedding Studio in Huntington. I am using them & they have a package for $3000 that includes 2 photographers & a videographer for the whole day. They do really nice work. If you want further info FM me.

Definately check out brentwood country club. Friends got married there in August, and it was beautiful. Outside coctail hour and the food was good! I think they paid 14,000 TOTAL. But I am sure they have all different packages! Good Luck!

OK - you could call the NY photography school - i will try and find the number - they will post a ad for you requseting a photographer- you will have to pay them like $300 and pay them travel expenses - It is a little risky - but a friend of mine did it - and her pictures came out great - to bad that guy isnt a student anymore - FM if you want more info..I will give you some numbers.

Definately try the Brentwood Country Club. Depending on the date and time of your wedding, the prices start at $9,000 (but, for example and Saturday evening wedding in September will cost $16,000)
And it is all inclusive - Photographer, Video, Florist, Limo's and invitations.

Douglaston Manor and Coral House have packages like the BCC. THere is a place in East Meadow too. But never been there. I think its called Crystal Brook. Something with Crystal.

Well, I second calling Ariana's...they have packages there to fit your needs. I'm using their Photography, and our MOH's brother is a DJ through them. For photo I recommend Ozzie, he is the best there, he is a fellow Latino also. As for the DJ I recommend our friend b/c he is a great DJ plus he's also Latin and knows how to cater to your music needs, his name is Billy. If you need more info FM me...good luck!

just wanted to wish you lots of luck planning. we too started with a small budget but back then we had no idea how much stuff cost so we went wayyyyyy over....
good luck to you - and perhaps a helpful hint, the biggest thing that we did to help w/ the budget was cut the guest list. we went from 125 to 75. It really helped.

Is $10,000 the total budget for your wedding?
A great way to do this is what people do not want to hear is by cutting your guest list.
I am hoping for 125-130 ppl, I am inviting 150. We could have easily invited over 200 ppl, but it would be way too expensive,
Consider having your wedding off season - Jan-Mar you will get good deals.
