HOW LONG BEFORE WEDDING DO YOU TAKE ENGAGEMENT PICS?

We took ours Aug 5th and we're getting married in October. It's really up to you. You can have them done now or more towards the wedding. We wanted to give them out for the RD so we're not showing anyone until then.

we took them back in the spring with the owner of patken but we still have another shoot to do with our photographer. we only have 2 months left! i think you can do them whenever depending on who you want to share them with and what you may want to use them for (ie. gifts at RD)

It's really up to you. We scheduled ours a year prior to our wedding thinking that it might be nice to take them around the same time of the year as we planned for the wedding.
