HELP!!

Ok - this might be long but....here goes. I have been up all night thinking about this...My Fiance and I live together along with our huge black dog that everyone is scared of except for us. He really is wonderful just a bit overprotective with people he doesn't know. No one wants to come to my house because he barks and growls (LOL), so bottom line no one can get ready at my house on my wedding day. Originally I wanted to get ready there but the girls are scared of my baby. I guess I can get ready at my friends house but I really wanted my mom in the pictures and she prefers to get ready in my house. My Fiance has no where to get ready, his guys are coming in from LI. I guess if I get ready at friends house - FH can get ready at our house but what about my Mom? I am clueless when it comes to photographers (haven't booked one yet) Can they take pictures of me and my mom someplace other than where I'm getting ready?? Please help I'm so confused and probably confused all of you. What should I do?

Re: HELP!!

What are you doing with him for your HM? Maybe your dog can stay with your parents?

Re: HELP!!

maybe your mom can get ready a little earlier and just come over wherever you are getting ready

Re: HELP!!

I agree that if you are planning to have him stay somewhere else while you ar eon your honeymoon it might be a good idea to bring him there earlier for the day of the wedding. This way you and your mom can get ready together and have those pictures...plus you'll probably feel more comfortable at home. There is no way the poor dog can be around everyone on the day of - if he get's loud when a few people are around imagine how crazy it'll be for him with the photographers and the running around. Poor guy will be terrified.

Re: HELP!!

Your right - I just feel so bad putting him in a kennel. But it seems like the logical thing to do. My Mom is staying with him when we go on our honeymoon. I guess it won't be that - only one day.

Thanks Guys - I feel alot better.

Re: HELP!!

I understand you feel badly but it sounds like the right thing to do. Hang in there.

Re: HELP!!

Can you buy a large crate for your dog? and keep him in there?

That way you can tell all your girls there is nothing to worry about, and he can bark all he wants - from personal experience with my dog, after an hour or so, he will get tired and go to sleep!

Re: HELP!!

My friend said the same thing- and maybe I might be able to keep him upstairs in an empty room we have.
Good idea!
