I bumped from page 3 to 1 so I could get more of your help...thanks.

I got engaged June 2008. My fiance lost his job in October. This put a damper on wedding plans. Anyway...we are really short on cash and want to have a wedding this November reasonably priced. I looked at a bunch of places but they seem a bit over our heads. Anyone have recommendation on a hall, photographer, dj etc. We really can't afford to go nuts. Thanks for your help.

BTW I am in the nassau/suffolk area

Maybe you can push your weddig back a few months and look for sometime in the winter of 2010. Jan to March you can great deals. Good Luck.

There are quite a few halls that offer package deals...Manor East, Ariana Waterfall and Holiday Inn in Plainview.They were very reasonably priced.

I know someone who had a cheap wedding at the Patchogue Manor, not sure how much though, and it turned out very nice.

As for DJ, so far I recommend FM entertainment. I know there is a florist that many people recommend, I think Flowers by Burton, but I can be wrong.
