Help!

Help!

As some of you know we ordered our groomsmen gifts from Overstock.com (boooooo! ) and they dropped over $200 worth of presents on our front stoop. The presents got stolen (our neighbors saw the box then a few hours later, the box was gone). So, Overstock is saying it'll take about a month to figure it all out (word of advice: they just drop presents off without needing a signature. Be very cautious when using them!). Does anyone where I could possibly find barbecue sets this time of year? Because now we have to run out and try to find them. Thanks so much!

What about Restoration Hardware? Sometimes they have things like that for Christmas...but it might be kind of expensive. Look on their website and if they have it call the store.

I work for Bed Bath and Beyond and I know for a fact that we have them. They are really nice sets for 29.99.

Re: Help!

Williams Sonoma has awesome BBQ sets in nice boxes for not too much $$$...check the website, not sure if they still have them.

Re: Help!

that stinks about the gifts!

i can't believe they just dropped them off like that. it probably isn't overstock's fault though...it was the delivery guy who dropped them off. probably UPS...they suck this time of year. drivers have so many pkgs that they just leave w/o a signature. but Overstock should have just given you the $$ back immediately. that suks!

i agree with the other girls, i saw some nice bbq sets at BBB about a week ago...and linens n things has them too, along with target

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Re: Help!

This happened to me too - I ordered a bunch of luggage and one piece, supposedly delivered, never made it to me. They just left the boxes on the porch when they delivered them (we were upstate at the time but still). Anyway, one must've been stolen or maybe just was never delivered, but they removed the charge pretty quickly. If they are saying it'll take awhile though, I agree with the above poster that you should call your credit card company and they can reverse the charge in the meantime themselves. Wonder if the delay's just because of the holiday busy-ness?

Good luck!
