ok, so i have this friend that i have been friends with for many years she was like a sister until over the last year or two she has done alot to dissappoint me but i am still close with her. i met my other friend who i have asked to be a matron of honor along with my sister in law, but now i feel very bad that i didnt ask my friend for years, and it will probally upset her very badly when she finds out i didnt ask her and asked someone i have not know as longs as her. truth is the person i asked has not been in my life as long but has been a big part in what she has. what should i do?
do i tell my old friend and hurt her or do i get rid of my new friend and make her just a brides maid?
or can i have 3 maids of honor?

Well i think you shouldn't hide from the situation. I think you should be upfront with her that you asked the two others. You can do whatever you want at your wedding. 2 or 3 wouldn't matter. There is no set rule, but i think the 3rd person is out of hand.
I don't think she would be upset if you were upfront. Just don't hide it for a long period of time. I girlfriend did that to me and I wasn't in her wedding party, nor I am her friend. I think you should just ask her in the wedding party. I think that would be nice enough. I think she would be annoyed all together if you didn't ask her all all.

3 Maids of Honor is a bit much. Realisticly your giving them the same honor, when all have different meanings to you. However, I think the girl you've been friends with the longest should atleast be in your BP as a BM. Even if she's done things to dissapoint you, atleast she knows she's still appreciated by you. ok ladies thanks for your help, i thought about it i will have 3 maids of honor i know that is a bit much by they are all important to me, and the way they will walk down the isle works out very nice too! thanks again
