I have a question....our wedding reception hall says we don't have to have place cards because they have a 'check in' when the guest arrive and they are brought to their tables. NOW...should I order something to hold table #'s??

Do you mean to hold the number on the actual table? Or the cards with names and the table number? I think the place would have something for the numbers at the table. And I think if you can skip the placecards, go ahead. One less thing to do!

your hall might supply the table numbers. mine did....
Since there are no placecards, are there even table numbers? And if guests are being escorted, then why would they need a number?

See..he said we wouldn't need placecards since they will be checked in and told what table they are at...BUT how will they know the table #? I don't want to have another expense..but...I'm curious. I don't want to call them...but I will have to now..lol
