My FH has really left all of the planning up to me, which believe me, is totally fine - but he is INSISTING on 'Endless Love' as our first dance! How horrible is that - I feel like i am stuck in 1985!!! What do you think???

i feel your pain....it is a bit totally 80's. What about True Companion - MarcCohn. I love it. My cousin had it as her song so i can't use it.

If he's totally stuck, maybe you can find a few new songs that are like Endless Love that you'll both like.

we used that song for our 1st dance at the e-party, the words are really appropriate
We used a newer version of the song by Mariah Carey and Luther Vandross

lol too funny - and i feel really bad because it is a beautiful song but we are older than other people to begin with so to use a song like that is just making us look even older!! i also feel bad because he is trying to participate but now i dont like what he picked - LOL

Yea..dont worry we are on the same boat. My FH hasnt really participated in much of the wedding planning (which is fine with me)..but then..he comes to me and asks if endless love could be the first dance song..and to make matters worse his whole family likes that song too!! But I refuse...its either my song..or i wont marry him! lol
