Gee, let's see, it's been so long:

1 - How many people does the room fit comfortably? This is important. You dont want people to feel squished.

2 - What does the cocktail hour consist of? Exact amount of stations, etc.?

3 - What consists of their premium liquor? I don't think you'll have a problem here with Russos.

4 - What is the price for vendor meals & children (if you're having any)?

5 - What time can guests begin to arrive?

6 - I would check out the bridal suite.

Sheesh, I'm stuck! I hope I helped a little. I wouldn't be too concerned with Russo's they throw AMAZING parties there! Congrats!

I didn't ask a lot of detail questions, more of what was applicable to me:

Here is approximate list:

Min/Max # of people
Timing of payments
Is unlimited alcohol included
Flexibility with cocktail hr dishes and choice of at least 2 entres

If you're using a band, ask how many separate electrical lines they have - > sometimes its an issue. We were recommended to have at least 6 or 8, once you add band and photo/video.

Restriction on how loud the music is

When does overtime start - for us, its as long as music is off by 5pm, and ppl start leaving - i.e. room doesn't have to be empty at 5pm.

If you're getting dressed in the bridal suite, does it have a full size mirror?

Can you rent candelabras / chair covers, or can you get them free?

Do you have a separate room for ceremony

How many waiters will you have

Can you throw rice/rose petals

I think that's all. Anything that you think may become a sticking point or may potentially drive you nuts if not done right - > ask.

halls pretty much do everything for you so there isnt much to worry about. my major questions were

what kind of service is it (buffet or sitdown)
what liquors are included in the open bar (top shelf??)
how long is cockatil hour and reception
how many main courses choices are there
how many courses are in the dinner
what selections are therer for cocktail hour
can i take pictures at the hall, and if so how early can i get there

ask them what the FINAL price will be pp - including the tax and service charge.....

Once you speak with the Banquet Manager and he/she goes over everything you will be amazed at all they cover. Russo's is known for their great parties so you will be fine.
