On Thursday FH and I will be taking our e-pics....
dilemma....
We are entitled to an in studio session with our wedding package....
To me studio shots are ok but I would really love to do them off premises since its the summer...only thing is our photographer charges $300 to do them elsewhere....
Here's the issue... FH and I are paying for the wedding ourselves and cant really afford the $300 extra , but I really want them done at the Garden City Gazebo....
should I just go into $300 debt for them or should I settle for the in studio free session???

Re: Help!
Who is your photographer and where are they located? I know one photographer we visited gave us an in studio e-shoot and when I asked about outdoor pictures, they were willing to take some right outside the studio. They had nice columns and sea grass and flowers outside the studio. I saw some of their pics outside their studio and you couldnt tell it was right outside their doors! Maybe your photographer will be willing to do something like that?

Re: Help!
If I were to give you FH's advice..he would say - you only do this once - if there's something you really want - then do it. We're paying for the wedding ourslves too and when I find something that I HAVE TO HAVE for the wedding - we figure out a way to cut back in other areas.
So if this is something you really really want...basically I say go for it!

Re: Help!
hmm ... I have the same situation but our place is only charging us an extra 100 for an offsite pic, we are doing them on the beach. Maybe you can give them a call to see how much they will charge you for offsite e-shoot even though you aren't booked with them? Don't tell them you booked elsewhere, they will probably still only charge you 100 for them.
