Re: HELP!!
Captain Bills is the most reasonable place I saw. It is really pretty too. I have been to 3 weddings there. I would check it out.

Re: HELP!!
OOOH girl now that is a loaded question . . there are a lot of reception halls in those areas but my question is
1. What is 'expensive' per person price to you? 2. What size group are you dealing with cause some discounts come b/c your party is small or vice versa. 3. Do you care about food?? Are you doing dinner??
Ok I know there are more q's to get a better idea but those 3 might help us point you in the right direction and you can always check spots like this price thread. . .

I got married at Captain Bills, pics in my album, it was amazing, and it's very fairly priced in the winter months. you should look into it. But, what is expensive?

Re: HELP!!
check out this site....http://www.weddingsitesandservices.com/
you can search reception halls in that area and also get a general quote for the per person rates...also keep in mind that fri night, sat day and sunday are usually much cheaper than sat night. also if you get married in the wedding off season nov-march it is also usually cheaper
Good Luck

Re: HELP!!
Ariana Waterfall is in Hempstead.. I think it's beautiful inside, my friend got married there... and it's all inclusive: invites, limos (Everything) and it's not expensive at all.. but then again what's not expensive for some is overpriced for others.. How much are you looking to spend, and for how many people?
