HELP

Hi ladies,
I'm in the process of looking for a florist. I have a small budget for flowers. Has anyone had quotes for less than $800? I love calla lillies but have heard that roses are the most inexpensive.

Another question, is anyone using Reverend Nick. I am meeting with him tomorrow but I'm not really sure what to ask

Roses are always going to be more economical than any other flower because they are always in season. Why not do roses with mini calla lillies? Those are always pretty. I had them in my BM bouquets and they came out so nice.
My total cost for flowers was over $2100 but, I had a large bridal party and I had ordered 17 centerpieces. The centerpieces wound up being $65-70 each. They were low, but SO pretty. My florist was Flower Barn.

Actually mini callas are less expensive than roses! ($3 per stem). I am using almost all callas! We are spending about 1k

oh and for cps we are having a tall cylinder vase filled with water, orchids submerged with a floating candle,and votives around it. She quoted us about $25 a piece! Looks sooo pretty and a huge $ saver!

We are using an awesome local florist. If you want an $800 budget your best bet will be a local shop... they do awesome work but the hyped up wedding florists like advertised on this site overcharge so much. I am getting more flowers for less $$ than many girls on here have.

CP's are going to make any floral order $$$. Boutenierres are cheap. If you're REALLY looking to save money, I would either look into DIY or going to like a grocery store florist and see if they could work with your budget.
