My Fiance and I are trying to determine which rh to pick. We have a certain budget and of course the one we want goes over it. Can anyone give me an idea of how much they spend on the extras...dj, flowers, photography, etc. I know the price changes depending how much u get, but I am looking for some kind of ball park. THANKS!!!

Re: HELP!
hard to estimate, but all the budgets say you should spend about 75% on your RH.
our ratio is about that. I would say at least 10K but you can prob cut corners to do it for less and of course you can ALWAYS do more!

Re: HELP!
our rh is probably gonna end up being 60% of the cost.
it really depends on what you want with all your other vendors, for ex if you want a ton of flowers, a fancy dj/band package, it will add up...but there are def ways to cut costs

Re: HELP!
my wedding planner friend said whatever the cost of the catering hall is to double it... i think that's a fair estimate.

Re: HELP!
It totally depends on what you want. For example if you want albums your photography is going to be a lot more, if you want plasmas and light effects your dj is going to be more. FM me if you want an idea of some costs of vendors I met with. HTH

Re: HELP!
I don't know what the ball park/ avg is but I spent $1800 on flowers $2000 on DJ $300 on ceremony music $6500 on photography $300 on cake about $1000 DIY such as invites, programs, placecards, etc. and another $2000 on tips for my wedding day.
I splurge on photography and cut on flowers and cake. You spend the money on what's important to you. Everyone has a different take on what to splurge on. Hope this helps. Don't forget to add 18-20% gratiuty to your RH price when you're working on your budget.
ETA: Congrats on your engagement and welcome to the board.
