We were supposed to be leaving to go to Olean, NY tomorrow morning to get ready for My fiances brothers wedding this Saturday. We just got a call an hour ago telling us that the Brides mother passed away. She went to take a nap because she wasnt feeling well, and they went to wake her and she was non responsive. They rushed her to the hospital, and they could not bring her back.
Has anyone been in or know of a similar situation? Have any advice? Know what happens from here in their situation?
Please, both my Fiance and I dont know how to handle this situation.
Thank you so much!
Rachel and Matt

Re: Help!!
i would call your FHs brother and see what they plan on doing....they may cancel they may not...it depends on the bride but call...or you can make the trip to be wtih him and be supportive...my goodness what an awful situation!

Re: Help!!
I would still go up there... just to be supportive. They may cancel, they may not. But I would not cancel going up there. Your FH's brother needs his brother for support!

Oh wow. I think you should still go. Now is the time they need family the most. They will figure out what to do about the wedding-they are probably in shock right now.

Thank you everyone for all of your help! They ended up having the wedding, but it was a roller coaster ride full of emotions.
