HELP!!!

Ok so Im not sure if I posted this before so if I have bare with me

In March one of my bm dropped out of the bp for 'financial reason' I at the time totally understood (her husband has MS and they are living off her salary) so I was fine and moved on. Now here comes my issue I have not heard from here since. In my mind if I couldnt be involved because of money and I were a true friend I would still check in and see how the bride was doing...but NO!!!! I havent heard from her since that day in March. She has seen on facebook that I got my dress and make-up booked. She also saw that fh and I got an apt. but no congrats of anything. So I have been toying with the idea that if i dont hear from her by the time I an ready to send invites out that she doesnt get on. We have been growing apart since college and I really asked her cuz I was in her bp. But i just dont feel like I will be speaking to her in 10 years so id just as well not have her there...am I being mean...please be honest

PS- I do plan on calling her up to just say listen it is kinda obvious there isnt any friendship left so lets leave it as it is no hard feelings...i wont just not send a invite

Re: HELP!!!

I think I would call her and see how she is doing. You know, just drop her a line. Maybe she is going through a rough patch right now. Check in with her. Sometimes, I go for months and months without talking to some friends, but when they or I do call it is like we never missed any time apart. If you do call her, and she doesn't seem to interested in hearing from you, then consider the friendship over.

Re: HELP!!!

oh i see where you are coming from t but it isnt that she is busy. She texted fh last week to come over to play poker and she is off all summer and at the beach every day. I always had a hot and cold relationship with her and she is again out every weekend with other people i dont know just thinking of her makes me angry

I totally agree. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own lives we don´t realize it. Maybe that´s what´s happening with her.

Re: HELP!!!

I would try communicating with her before X-ing her off the guest list. If you try and it's not like it once was and if you still feel like you won't be friends with her in a few years, I would delegate her to the B-list.

ITA...this seems the most effective, non-invasive approach to seeing whats going on...its so easy to lose touch.

I agree - you should just call her first and take it from there.

i also think you should reach out to her. like others said. sometimes we all get so caught up with everything else that we don't realize how fast time goes bye.

ugggg I give up she is soooo nasty. I sent her a message asking if there was a reason I havent heard from her and her answer was and I quote 'oh I guess I must have missed all those phone calls from you'
