Re: Help..
:( I know how you feel. I splurged on a few things I really wanted that were over my budget, but hey it's for a good cause. I had to start being extra careful with the amount of money I spend daily. I had to say bye to my 15 dollar a day lunches :( and start brown bagging it. lol

Re: Help..
you can always pull from somewhere else in your budget... or try to order from a no frills place like rk or burtons to get a better price

Re: Help..
I would say if you really love it then try to cut from other places in your budget.. maybe invites or flowers etc.. depending on what u care less about.

Re: Help..
hey ladies, thanks for all your suggestions. i havent been to RK bridals, but i do not think they carry the designer. The dress is made by jim hjelm.
I certainly like the idea's of cutting in other area's.. lol

Re: Help..
This post sounds very familiar!
I was also waaaay over budget with my dress....but I absolutely loved it and was willing to cut some other expenses to be able to afford it!--One expense I was able cut was on flowers. I actually backed out of my contract with Burton's (I did lose my deposit but it was only 50 bucks) and booked with a local florist from my neighborhood in Floral (what a coincidence) Park. Needless to say I ended up saving about $800 on flowers from my original Burtons quote! I did have to downgrade from elevated centerpieces to lower ones, but hey, it's worth extra cash to buy the dress of my dreams!
If you really love the dress, go for it! It's possible; you'll just have to rearrange some other expenses.
Good luck!

Re: Help..
Thanks for your recommendation.. I really do love this dress... It's been really hard to find a dress i love.
I think cutting the flowers cost is a great idea, plus i could really care less about flowers... lol...
Thanks again.
