HELP

First post here... Hello!!!

I am a possible (not signed yet) 11.05.10 Leonard's of Great Neck bride. I didn't ask if I could have our ceremony at Leonard's- and incase it's not possible- I wanted to know if ANYONE out there has any ideas of NON denominational, INDOOR, wedding venues around the gold coast/ north shore of Long Island.

My fiance and I are not religious AT ALL. We intend to have a very spiritual, new age type joining of our hearts and souls. So churches are mostly out- being that they don't allow you to marry there if you're not of their religion. Planting fields are too iffy being that the weather could be cold or bad.

I am at a loss for places to hold our ceremony.

I'm hoping someone out there has some wisdom for me.
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely
Danielle,
Miss Dreamy D

Re: HELP

try the universal unitarian in Manhasset. It's spiritual rather than religious. I went to a wedding there a few years ago and it was beautiful.

Re: HELP

Thank you and Thank you!!!!
I would consider it- but they quoted me an AMAZING price because they are putting me in one of their 'holes in their book.' Sooner rather than later- and I did put a call in today to see if we can have our ceremony AT the reception site- but incase he says no... I wanted to have a back up plan because the price I was given for the reception is TOO good to walk away from.
I need a plan B... so to speak!

Re: HELP

I think you'd really like our officiant. He did exactly what you're talking about as far as our ceremony went.

I've been to Leonards when the couple has gotten married there, so it's definitely something that is done. Hope you get your answer soon.
