Ok! So, my FH and I were planning for our reception outside of a catering hall, until the lowest off-premises caterer cost $26,000. (Mind you, that was JUST for the food...nothing else.) So, now we are looking to have our reception in a hall. Does anyone have any suggestions?! Please help!

Re: help!
What are you looking for modern, gardens, water views, vintage? How much pp do you want to spend? How many people do you plan on inviting?

Well, I would love something by the water. But we'r pretty open, being that we have finally decided to go with a hall. We're not really set on how much pp. We're inviting 200-250 people.

How many guests are you having? I see that your wedding is in Dec. Definitely check out the Riviera. It's right on the water and you will definitely get a great price for that time of year. We are paying (before taxes/gratuities) $94pp and with everything it comes out to around $17,000 for the minimum of 130 (and that's for May). I pretty sure in the off seasons, it's more like $89pp.

Re: help!
land's End is pricey but you get tons w it.
Went to a fab wedding at Venetian Yacht Club.
Both Lombardis will be too small for you but if you decide to max out at 150, check them out.

I wanted to get married on the water also so i went to several places on the water! It really depends on your budget!
I agree with allornil - Lands End is beautiful!! Venetian Yacht Club Harbour Club Flowerfields- is not on the water but has beautiful gardens and a huge pond- also inside the cocktail room is a huge pond with a bridge with Koi fish!! Villa Lombardis- my hall im partial to this place!!!

Re: help!
Lands End is probably a lot less pricey in the winter and they do a lot there at Christmas to make it beautiful.

ehhh not so much. you're still talking 110 pp. their prices change 10/1. yes I know its 40 less a person lol but still not cheap.
but you know I think they're worth it any time of year!
