How many did you invite? that is a lot!

I guaranteed 100 with the stipulation that if we went about 120 we would get a lower rate. Which we did!

We had 2 numbers in our contract... 250 or 300...


i dont think 225 is average...i think thats closer to the average amount that people invite total...

you can guarantee as many as you want ... it really depends how many guests you think will come.

my min is only 100 because we were only expecting to invite 130 guests.

i guess that depends on how many people you are inviting and how many are OOTers.

We guaranteed 220 and we don't have many OOTers, except the Greece and Italy people, and a handful from Canada. We are inviting (excluding the overseas people) appx 275?

um.. how many are you planning on inviting?
we guaranteed 150, but we're expecting 175-200.. I think.
from what I remember, the more you guarantee, the less it costs per person.. (but it was like $100 for 200 or $105 for 175)

the average amt of guests that decline is 20%... but tahts just an average. take a peek at your guest list and think 'is this person 99% coming or 50%' and see how many you have closer to the 99%.

like if you have 200 total

100 are 99%
100 are 50%
you'd take the 50% and split it in half (or a quarter) and guarantee 150-170.

but if you have 175 that are 99% and only 200 that are 50% then you're safe around 190.

I know, my math makes no sense.. lol- I'm just rambling cause I'm bored and these last 12 minutes are DRAGGING!

I'm inviting 201 Adults 15 kids and my min. is 150 but I'm realistically expecting 175 or so to come.

225 is only a lot if your not planning on inviting more then 240 imo and that might be stretching it a little.

guaranteed 270

depends on the size oh your room (like capacity) and day of the week
