HELP

HELP

We are doing slipper baskets and we want to put somewhere on the sign to only take 1 pair. This is the poem we are going to use for the sign and the tags:

'Dance around in your pretty shoes and never miss a beat, but when they ache, just take a break, and wear these on your feet '

The only thing I can come up with is 'Please be fair and take one pair' but I know you girls are AWESOME at this! I told my cousin 'I'll ask the girls on LIweddings...they got this'. What I really want to say is 'don't be greedy or cheap only take one pair or take your seat!!!!' HAHA!

FH's aunt decided to be a b*tch all week (long story) and now 2 weeks before the wedding I have to make them (while she had almost 2 years)! UGH! I won't start, TRUST ME you'll just get annoyed too!

i know people take more favors than they should but ive never heard of people taking extra flip flops...i think the poem you have is fine....dont stress about adding anything bc even if you do I doubt it would stop someone from taking more if they really wanted to..hth

i kind of agree .... i think putting a 'please take only one' type poem sounds a little rude .... just let people fight over them - it'll be fine

Thanks girls! At FSIL's wedding someone took 6 pairs and when asked what she was doing she said 'well my 2 girls aren't here and it doesn't say take 1'. she's another aunt that is a HUGE C U Next Tuesday! I don't care about sounding rude. I think it's rude if people take more then one.

How many flip flops did you buy? Did you buy guy sizes also? Where did you get them all?
Sorry for so many questions...reading this just got my mind turning and thinking about doing something like that also! : )

I went into China Town and bought them all. Hard to find but I got them. We were no a savanger hunt for them LOL!

I got 88 pairs and I'm sure everyone will use them LOL! FSIL had 90 and none left. I didnt get any guys sizes. No one takes his shoes off that I've ever seen. We got sizes 5-11 for woman.
