with every vendor that everyone talks about I have had the worst luck!
So now im onto flowers and have had terrible luck with ones everyone on here uses. I found one I really like but cannot go in to see her as I live far away. I talked to her on the phone a few times and love her. The pictures on the web are great also. Her prices are a little high but I like her.
The problem is I cannot find any reviews so i dont know much other than what she tells me.
Should i book her becuase i like her so far... or hold off and find one that is more popular?

i say go with your gut, if you like her and get a good vibe then book her. Good luck! Did you try Burtons for flowers?

If you like her and the price is right and you think she'll pull through for you, why not book? Just because a vendor is not popular on LIW doesn't mean they don't do an excellent job or have an excellent reputation in their industry. JMO

I really don't think popularity should be your deciding factor. It should be which florist's work you like best and fits into your budget. For me personally, flowers are not high on my list so this is one vendor where I will be trying to save the most money on. I def don't think you should hire the florsit without first going in to see her work. JMO. Good luck.

I agree but Its 10 hours away and I dont have a day off until March, SO that option is out. I looked at her work online and she has tons of pictures but it is stressing me out that i cant just go meet her and look at her work

If you're worried, ask her for references. All reputable vendors will give you a few past clients to call.

When booking vendors you really have to go with your gut feeling. Even though it's a good thing to get some feedback; everyone's experience is different.

Before you book anyone, I would definitely call Jen from Verbena Designs. I've heard really great things about her! Good luck!

Did you try Lovin Oven or any of the other recommended Lands End vendors? You know they would do a good job because its a related company and they know the space very well. Plus its right next door to Lands End so you don't have to worry about someone overseeing what is going on?

Did you try Pedestals. I have heard great things about them as well, my family has used them. I would have used them if I had a choice of florists which I didn't.
I would go on personal recommendations.

don't worry... i think when we see everyone using certain vendors we feel like we need to go with the flow.... but step back and think about all the millions of ppl everywhere else in the world out of LI and they manage to have beautiful weddings without this site lol
