Help! Any plus size brides out there?

Are there any plus size brides out there? Can anyone recommend a great place to get a gown, preferably where they have dresses you can try on in an actual big size? Ive heard about Beautiful Brides in Lynbrook, anyone use them? Good? Bad? Thanks so much!

Also any suggestions on where to get a plus size mother of the bride gown?

I was able to try on dresses at RK bridal and in Davids Bridal they carry bigger sizes as well as plus size MOB dresses

I know Davids Bridal has lots of sizes to try on!

large and in charge here!!

i don't know about the place in lynbrook. i went to bridal suite in bay shore, and they had some gowns to try on. whatever wasn't quite a plus size, they managed to give me an idea of how it would look when clips and such.

i've heard of a place called sugar plums for plus size MOB gowns. i think they might even be a vendor on here. but i'm not sure

Davids Bridal I know has alot to chose from......that was the only place I went to. Sorry I cant be of more help :(

Believe it or not, I went to Lilette's and they had some larger gowns available..I tried some on that were actually too big and the woman was my new best friend..lol..I didn't get my gown there, but it was a good mention...

I'm a plus size bride and I went to Fantasia Bridal Center in Rocky Point. They are the best to work with. The dresses they have are Beautiful. They carry a large selection of plus size dresses. I very highly recommend Fantasia Bridal!!!!!!

I am in the midst of my search. So far I have gone to Lillette's, Beautiful Bride and Bridal Reflections.

I had the BEST experience at Lillette's, I worked with Carol and I her!

I had a good experience at Beautiful Bride, they had a nice selection of dresses for me to try on.
