Anybody know what the inside is gonna look like, hard wood? carpeted? I couldn't even tell anything from the artists rendition of the outside. I guess it's worth giving the deposit since it's refundable.

I know someone who 'went in blind' too and I think that since a reputable owner( villa lombardi's ) is taking over that it would be worth it, I think you can ask though, they must know the answers to those questions...I would ask before leaving a deposit....

I booked there. I keep passing by to see the updates...It looks great from the outside!....The inside will be mahogony wood(prob spelled that wrong) the dance floor will be marble and the area where the tables are will be carpet. It's hard to tell exactly how the cocktail hour room will be situated. The last time I went by it they were just starting to construct it. It should be done the middle of next month......I really hope it will be nice cause I don't want to have to search again! When did you book?

I didn't book yet. I went yesterday to discuss but was thinking I should of left a deposit. I know the scenery will be gorgeous but I have reservations about the inside. I'm not into the busy carpet /marble room. I prefer plain and simple. FMIL is totally putting on the pressure for this place!
If I do book it will be a Sun afternoon in June.

I agree we hate busy also...but I really don't think that is what it will look like....it's a cc. you can always put the deposit down and get it back. if you take a ride by on a sat or sun there is noone there and you can walk around it to get an idea. our date in june 10 a fri night

I would be two days later My family lives all in the area and I'm actually going to see them today. I think we will stop by Villa Lombardi's and leave the deposit, then go over to the CC. My FMIL went and although it says stay out went trapsing along the property. I think I'll do the same. I'll let you know. Are you having your ceremony there?

I am getting married there as well and was told the same, mahogany wood, marble floor and earth tones. I was not told about the carpet though, I thought I recalled them saying there would not be carpet? Hmmm, now I am curios because I am DEFINITELY not a fan of that busy carpeting you see in so many places, a minor detail but it was big on my list. I booked a while back though so maybe it changed....I hoe they are not going to put down that busy carpeting, I'll be disappointed!!!

sorry im not getting married there and have never been here but I just wanted to say that im glad im not the only one who hates the carpeting!!! I thought I was nuts but I just cant stand when a place has those crazy carpets.. it just gets to me!!! Its the first thing that I noticed about my hall .. not one drop of carpeting in the whole place

Marble dance floor??? Busy carpet? OMG what have I gotten myself into. Now praying that I don't hate it because I have no time to book somewhere else and I LOVE the menu from Villa's.

Not to worry, I am sure it is going to beautiful, and the food is going to be fabulous!!!! I have driven by there and the work they have done looks fabulous, the view is going to be amazing!!!! I'm sure with al lthe money going into it, you can't go wrong (with or without carpeting!!!)
