Any catering halls in Nassau or Queens, or even western Suffolk that we can have our wedding reception at? Here is our criteria...
-Friday night -preferably in July (2006) -approx 150 people -60-70 MAX per person. -will take credit card for deposit and payments (except final--that we can do cash)
The last two are MAJOR points. We are having a hard time finding a place to accomodate our needs. Oh, and preferably does not REQUIRE monthly payments. The credit card bit is important b/c we do not have cash on hand right now, maybe in April or May (after our E-party and tax returns). I want to book w/i the next month so we can get our first (or 2nd) choice for dates. TIA!!

Huntington Townhouse.... We did all credit card payments and it wasn't required monthly. 3/4 was due 3 mints before and the full balance 1 month before.
Our minimun was 200 but other rooms have different minimums, you could probably get it a little lower for my room also if you ask. We are paying less than your range for a Fri. night in Sept. FM me if you want any more info.

Try Sunset Harbour in Patchogue. They have prices in that range and are great to deal with.

Unfortunately the Cottage only takes a check or cash. I don't know how the carriage house it, but I would assume it is the same as the Cottage.

Douglaston Manor will take 1 credit card payment. They don't require monthly payments. I paid the balance of my wedding two days befor the wedding. Ask to speak to Thomas. He was great to work with

Try looking into Stewart Manor Country Club, Coral House in Baldwin (not sure about the CC thing on either though) but I have gotten reasonable price quotes from both places.

Try The Riviera. Not expensive, if you don't add extras.
