Help - anyone - do they have a website? Im told they just brought in their own caterers 2 months ago. I know they just had a showcase on Sunday.. did anyone go? Its on a golf course in wading river.... Shes going to pay for the hall - thats about $7,000 and a few other things! Id be crazy to give it up right??? Should I have it there???

do it!!! Its a beautiful place, the food is great too. It's a lessings facility, I believe.

it is lessing - check it out to try food you can go to a showcase at one of the others

Thanks Girls - Gabriel has 'ticks' THey were brought on by his pneumoia. They could go away tomorrow or last for years... They could get worse or get better. They really dont know much about it except its not affecting his brain. We go for an EEG soon though to find out for sure. He couldnt breathe last night very well. I took him to the doc today and they said he has spasmatic croup??? Whats next!!

I never heard of ticks but thank God it's not affecting his brain. I'm sorry he is going through this. Did they give him something for the pain, assuming there is some pain?

Theres no pain. I dont think he even knows hes doing it. Hes on absolutely nothing. They told me his rash will go away, his lungs are clear from pneumonia, when he gets croup take him outside and the ticks theres nothing they can do..... Nice huh??

Is there a reason she is paying only if it is this hall? It seems likea nice enough palce, that you ar not taking a risk at all. I'd probably do it.
It is a lessings facility & they have a good reputation.

Well I think she will help out anywhere really... She found this place though and is totally psyched about it. She liked the idea that its $65 pp for 100 people. She said I will give you $6500 towards it... Maybe shed give me $6500 anywhere? Im looking at Timberpoint..

We did Timber Point, but keep in mind that $6500 even if you don't go all out is probably less than half of what it will cost you. Is there a maximum you and FH can kick in? Figure that out before you go meet with them, because you'll need to figure tax and gratuities on top of your number of guests x price pp...

I checked out Tall Grass Country Club. It was nice. But the best part about it was the price. Definitely the best we found. It is owned by Lessings. So the food and service can't be that bad. We chose not to have our reception there but it was an option.

OH, FH and I were going to swing JT with 200 people at $60 pp. $12,000 + by ourselve, so this is huge.... Well figure it out no problem.. I just am looking ofr the cheapest place thats still nice... Id really like an outside area preferably on the water and a nice indoor reception....
