Help! - BACHELORETTE PARTY - How much is typical to spend?
Hello Ladies, I'm starting to think options for my bachelorette party. I'd like to go away to Puerto Rico for the weekend. I found a package for about $375 for flight/3 nights 4-star hotel pp. Is that too much to ask the girls to spend? What is reasonable? Eagerly awaiting your help/advice!

I'm going away too. Because your package includes airfare, that's a great price. It all depends and you want to talk to them before being set on the decision. You may have some drop out because sometimes people think they can do it and then when it gets closer, they realize they cant. All in all, I think it's a nice idea.

If everyone is aware of the plans it is a good price! I went to Miami for a bachelorette party and the only reason I was against doing something like that for mine was bc we spent the whole day in the airport bc of delays and cancellations and then delta lost our luggage. So for a short weekend it really kind of put a damper on things.
There will probably be a lot of girls that may not go, so have a NY one too!

Unless all your ladies are ballers, thats kinda pricey and I wouldn't be sure its even worth it if I was the friend considering going. The economy isn't great right now... If you'd be happy with just a couple of friends going and not a large crowd then maybe it'll work out for you. Good Luck!

This! I mean its not a horrible price but it might be tough economically for some so dont be upset if certain people can't make it. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Yea it is not a bad price at all for that package. But that is not factoring in other expenses like food...drinks...transporation, etc.
So a few may be able to swing it, but not everyone may be able to go. So having 2 may be a good plan for those that can't go.

I would ask your bridal party and see what they think, if you give them enough time and nobody is having money issues they might be able to swing it, maybe they would even like to get away for a few days. I couldnt do it with my bridal party because I know some of the girls dont have alot of extra money.

Awesome price for a vacation.. but is that what the girls are willing to spend?? I have a friend who just did it for all of her close friends so it wasn't even a question for her...I couldn't ask my friends to do that so we did AC for $125 pp at the Borgata plus $60 for dinner (with drinks) and then the drinks at the club were extra...we got in to mur.mur for free so that was a bonus!
If you are going then I'd def plan a dinner or night out for those who can't afford to come but would like to help you celebrate.
Just remember that the $375 isn't all inclusive and can quickly add up to $700 with food and drinks for that long, plus cabs around PR.

I agree that a great price but they still have to pay for other expenses. I would ask your girls though since everyones situation is different maybe they would want to do it. I agree with the others girls maybe also do something in NY for people who can't come.

Sounds like an amazing price but everyone's financial situation is different. If you know someone is struggling perhaps you can help foot the bill as part of their BM gift so they won't be feel or be left out.
