Help---Bachelorette Party Ideas

Hi girls! I wanted to see if anyone could help with ideas for an overnight bachelorette party. I'm trying to help plan one for a friend. She doens't want to do NYC because she lives in the city, doesn't want to go out east because she grew up there and I had my bachelorette party in AC last year, so I was trying to think of something different so that she didn't have the same thing as I did. We're not going until the first week in October. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

If you can hold out till the 2nd week in oct, Oct 14 we are doing a one night cruise on NCL Dawn out of NYC. Go to www.ncl.com to check it out! I know I can't wait for mine!!!!!!

-New Hope PA, is really nice..not sure how lively it is in october....

-Cape May - love it...not much of a party as AC, but there are clubs...

I actually saw the cruise but was worried that bachelor/bachelorette parties wouldn't do it. I'm going to check it out and see what everyone else thinks...thanks!!

I'm doing an overnight at Mohegan Sun in CT. THere is TONS to do & I can't wait!

I second this idea as this is what we are doing as well. I know it is going to be a blast.

CaMacho did this for her bachelorette party in May. FM her, I think she did a mini-review of it.

Fire Island - although it's not all that lively in October
Mohegan
Foxwoods
Boston
Newport - there's a beer festival there in October

Is she looking to keep it somewhat local? There's always Miami, Vegas, etc ...

If she went to college in another state, maybe you could take her there and go to her old haunts?

It also depends if she's more low key or a party girl ... and sometimes it doesn't hurt to repeat someone's bachelorette party. If you had a good time the first time, you probably will again.
