HELP! Bridal Couture - Open Sundays???

HELP! Bridal Couture - Open Sundays???

Does anybody know if Bridal Couture is open on Sundays?

Here's my dilemma...

I had the opportunity to check out my swatch and beading detail at Bridal Reflections yesterday. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the same color I tried on at Bridal Couture, but I don't know if I'm just remembering it differently or not. The sales associate at BR held my swatch up to an ivory dress and it's definitely different, but I felt the original gown was much more obvious next to other gowns. (A full size gown might look obvious as opposed to the swatch. Not sure though.)

I asked the sales assoc. to see if the gown comes any darker (which I would imagine it would since Stephen Yearick designs pageant gowns) and to let me know, but if not, the swatch they had would be fine. She said they would call me before they do anything (I have to go back there today and I'm going to emphasize the last part!)

Do I go to Bridal Couture to see if they still have the gown? I don't know if they'll remember me and give me hard time.

Do I see if I can go into the Stephen Yearick show room to view the swatches personally?

Help...I'm freaking out!!! (I had trouble sleeping!)

IMO, I would avoid Bridal Couture. However, that seems like it might be the easiest option for you.

I would try to go to the Stephen Yearick show room to view the swatches.

If that doesn't work, go to Bridal Couture. Maybe you can have a friend go with you and 'pretend' she's the bride, that she was eyeballing a certain gown. I want to believe that they will be nice to you, but you never know with them.

I'm sorry you're going through this, cheer up, it'll all work out.

The only reason why I want to go to Bridal Couture is to see the gown color.

They've always been pleasant to me, but I don't know how they'll respond when I walk in and say I don't have an appointment. I figured I would tell them I interesting in looking at their accessories, that way I don't need an appointment.

Turns out they're open today, so I think I may stop by. I guess the worst thing they can do is kick me out.

Did you go to Bridal Couture? That's what I meant. I don't want them to be snotty to you because you are not really 'looking' ya know?

Just wanted to add: they were always pleasant to me, however, they lied to me and I caught them! I cannot tolerate liars! That's the only reason why I would've avoided going back!

Hope everything went well! Was the swatch the same?

Yep, we went yesterday! There was a Vera Wang trunk show for her bridesmaids line, so they were pretty busy upstairs. Nobody even bothered us.

I had my sister look around while I looked at tiaras. I actually like many of their tiaras, so I was there for 2 reasons.

We were about to leave b/c we didn't think they had it anymore, then my sister just happen to turn and see the color of my gown 'through the crowd' of dresses. It was hidden in the corner with the evening gowns/MOB gowns. I guess they didn't have it with the bridal gowns b/c it's not white or ivory.

My mind was put at ease... the beads & swatches Stephen Yearick sent were right on the money!

YAY! I'm glad everything worked out!

I LOVE their tiaras! I have never seen anything like the one I saw there. I think I may actually use them for that anyway.

I just hope their tiaras don't have to be ordered. The idea of handing them a cash deposit and then running into a problem when I eventually receive my merchandise doesn't sit well with me.

Where else have you looked for tiaras? I agree, they had the best ones. I wasn't impressed with Bridal Reflections' selection.

I was not thrilled with Bridal Reflections either, BTW is that where you ended up ordering your gown, if so, so did I! lol!

anyway, I also looked at Macys Bridal Salon in Manhasset (some pretty ones, nothing great) and Tri-county (my friends sister got hers there and it was so pretty) of course I wasn't thrilled with Tri-county. What about you?

Edited to say: I would not go to Bridal Couture for my tiara if it has to be ordered, I'll search for it if I have to!

Yep, I ordered my gown at Bridal Reflections.

I wanted to check out Macys b/c I was told they carried Nelson D'Leon. Iman in Old Brookville/Glen Head is another place I'd like to 'browse' at.

The thing that amazed me about Bridal Reflections' tiaras was that they were $700-800 and Bridal Couture's were prettier and half the price!

I noticed that too about the BC and BR with the tiara prices. I dont know, I guess I still have time. I can't seem to think of any place else to suggest to you. I'm sorry, I am useless today. I just hate Mondays
