its not pimple. Its sortta like a whitehead but its in the arms. I never had this and i am mad annoyed it had to come out 4 months before my wedding!
Any ideas how to clear this up before i spend and see a dermatologist?

Re: help! bumps in the arm?
It;s called ketosis pilaris or commonly 'Chicken Skin.' Go to the dermatologist...they can give you a topical cream to get rid of it! No biggie!

I have it too....in patches all over my arms up near the shoulder. Ew. I need to go to the dermo and get something for it!

Re: help! bumps in the arm?
Hey! This is actually very common. It is called Keratosis. it is usually worse in the winter b/c your skin gets dried out!
It is actually just a buildup of keratin and skin cells. Best thing for it is to gently exfoliate, then use a good moisturizer with glycolic or lactic acid. (aquaphor works great for night (kinda like a vaseline) and CeraVe is amazing for after the shower.)
Good luck!

Re: help! bumps in the arm?
If it's red little bumps on the back of your arms, it probably keratosis pilaris. I've had it my whole life and every cream a dermatologist gave me never worked. FH noticed how self-conscious I was about it with the weather getting warmer and me wearing tank tops. He found a cream online called Paula's Choice 2% BPH lotion. I've used it once a day for the past week, and it's almost gone! love it! going to stock up on it now lol

I should mention that different things work for different people, but this lotion worked great for me. Hope this helps!

It's familial. You can also try Amlactin. You can find it in any pharmacy and even Costco.
