HELP! Ceremony Sites

I'm new to the site....I'm planning my wedding for May 6, 2005. I am having the reception at Ariana Waterfalls. However, I do not want to have my ceremony there and I desperately need ideas on places for the ceremony. Neither my fiance or myself live in Hempstead so we are not members of a church there (we live in Brooklyn) and he is Methodist and I am Catholic, so I am not sure where we are allowed to get married. Anyone have any ideas?? I am totally clueless at the point. Thanks so much...
