Help--Cheap Honeymoon Ideas!!!

Hello

I am so tired of spending money with this wedding, and I want to get away. I am hearing different input from everyone.

I would like to go for 1wk in Aug. to

Aruba/Mexico or a cruise? I believe Aruba is totally not in my price range. Bec. the airfare alone is close to 1000.00 per person.

Any Carribean island will work. Thought the airfare is a pain sometimes I am sure you could go to one for a that amount.

I got a quote for the Moon Palace in Mexico that was not that expensive. If I remember correctly it was like $3,300 for 9 days and that included airfare. I know someone who went there and LOVED it.

Hey Date Mate

You can join us on our cruise, we leave Sun 8/1. We are going on a 7-night Southern Carribean cruise leaving from San Juan going to St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados and Aruba. For a balcony room we paid $2800 with insurance and taxes. We used our timeshare points to get our plane tickets to San Juan.

Call Liberty Travel, we have always gotten good vacation packages from them. I have worked with the on on Franklin Ave in GC and the one on Sunrise Hwy in Baldwin

You can get inexpensive deals for Mexico, especially for an all-inclusive. Just find what part you want to go to there exactly.

Try a cruise...pretty much all inclusive and you can get one to go to the carribbean for less than 1000 pp I am taking a princess cruise to the so. carribbean from san juan. With cruise, air fare, 1 night hotel and all taxes, we are paying maybe $3400 in total. You could definitely find something in your price range in a cruise. I used a place called Card's Cruise Travel out of Ft. Lauderdale FL and they gave me the cheapest rate for a balcony room + some extras. They dont do airfare, you have to do that on your own, because they would have to go through the cruiseline to do airfare and they said it was much more $$$. FM me if you want their #. Good Luck

Moon Palace is an all inclusive. All you need money for is shopping and tips.

Re: Help--Cheap Honeymoon Ideas!!!

I went to Cancun in August and it was so cheap. I think the whole thing hotel/airfare and food (all inclusive - the food was terrrific) was about $1100...
http://www.cancunsmart.com/hotel-fiesta-americana-condesa-cancun.php

This is where we stayed...

The room was nice very clean - the pool was great - we could order drinks/food during the day which was included too...

We just relaxed and slept on the beach relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised as my friends booked it and I just showed up - I actually didn't want all-inclusive b/c I wasn't sure about how good the food was, but I was wrong!

FM me if you have questions...

I know you wanted Caribbean, but Bermuda is beautiful that time of year. You could go on a nice cruise that leaves out of NY (no airfare) for 1K per person or even less.

Try Sandals....

Mexico is very cheap that time of year. Check out the travel section on yahoo. Also criuses are cheap too and include the food and you just pay for drinks and excrsions.
Sandals is also all inclusive and they have different room categories...so you don't have to get the most expensive especially if you're not goign to be in the room all day.

Exactlyw hat I was going to say! For Mexico, I went to the Mayan Riviera in November to this amazing all inclusive five star resort called Bahia Principe. Including airfare for 6 nights it was $1650 TOTAL for 2 of us thru priceline!! I'd recommend both priceline AND Bahia Principe (we stayed on Akumal side, I prefer it, it's a little quieter).

Okay, I just searched Priceline for you, Air and Hotel, 9 nights to Cancun, August 11-20th, starting at $783 per person and the Sheraton Cancun Resort And Towers. You can get Royal Solaris Caribe Hotel And Marina for $1,069 all inclusive per person. I would go to www.biddingfortravel.com and www.tripadvisor.com for reviews of places.
Good luck either way!

We are going to Aruba for our HM - the airfare is a little over a $1000 for both of us. Maybe its different because of the time of year. We booked through Liberty Travel and she got us a deal on American.

Good luck!
