HELP!!! Christening Gift..

What do you buy a millionairre's kid for his christening? It's FH's cousin's kid..

any help would be great and NO we do not want to break the bank

I dont know if you are on the island but in suffolk county there is a COLONY SHOP beautiful unique christening gifts

yes, I am on the island!! I want to get him something like that.. I think it would be better.. and cash, or a bond, which is what we usually give, wouldn't be appropriate.. you know? the darn christening is going to be like 230 people!

What about a bond? I did that for a 1 yr old birthday party (it was like a mini-wedding I swear!) and for another baby's christening.

We are giving 'one share' of disney stock for a christening gift next month. You buy one share and they frame it for you and put a personal message on the matting. It's pretty cute. We are also giving a bond.

I just went to a 'mini wedding' christening as well. We got a really cute fur piggy bank( girl) with $20 taped to it and a savings bond ($100)

What should we get for our god daughter's christining. I asked if we could buy the christening outfit but her mom is already making one? I am not really sure what to get her.

DH and I attended our first christening together a few months ago. Our gift recommended by DH's mother is a savings bond. Any bank should issue savings bonds. Another option by a previous poster is Tiffany.com, they have a nice baby section.

I got a precious momnet box from a friend that you write the name and day on the botton and keep the rosery beads or the bib that they gave you. I also got a time capsule from someone that i loved and they started it for me with info from my babys birthday to the day of the Christening.
