I've never been to a continous cocktail hour but I think, it's similar to a brunch. This is becoming more of a trend now to save money and also time especially for guests who are traveling out of state, etc. I think it's a great idea if you want a comfortable and laid-back setting and for everyone to have a good time!

Interesting I never heard of this and I have never been to a wedding that had this.
