Help Crescent Beach club brides (past and future)

What hotel are you staying at the night of? FH and I as well as a few guests need a place to stay and the only one I can find that is close is the Norwich Motor Inn.

I just called around for our hotel block. The hotels I called are:
Glen Cove Mansion
East Norwich Inn
LaQuinta Garden City
4 Points Sheraton Plainview
Fairfield Syosset
Homewood Suite Plainview

Approximately how far are these?

Just make sure you go see the hotels before you book them! I went to see a few yesterday and the Glen Cove Mansion was really nice.

I really wouldn't let any family stay at the Norwich Inn.

I would have recommended the same.. they are not far at all.. at most 4 or 5 miles..

we had guests stay at the norwich and they liked it.. glen cove mansion is fancier and pricey.. you can get nice pics there too..

btw.. DH and I celebrated our one year anniversary and had dinner there.. saw another wedding and it looked great!!

its was so nice to go back and enjoy the site again..

Your guests were ok with the Norwich Inn? My guests said it didn't matter because they only need a place to crash. It was also the most affordable. If you think it's okay, maybe I will leave it.

The two in plainview are about 15 miles away. Unfortunately it seems hard to find hotels close as Bayville is kind fo secluded.

When I called the Eat Norwich inn the women kept stressing to me that it was a limited service hotel (no roo service, elevators, resturant) and she said something to the effect that made me think it was kind of old and run down (she didn't use those words) somethin glike older style but comfortable.

It is! I went to see it and it definately hasn't been renovated since the day it was built.

they didnt really comment on what it was like!! think they booked it becaue it was the cheapest and they were only staying one night.... i gave them a variety of options and they picked that, so must have been because of price..

Honestly, the East Norwich Inn isn't nearly as bad as some of you seem to think it is.
I had more than half the hotel booked for my wedding. They gave my guests a great price, the rooms were clean and I stayed there on my wedding night also.
I also held a brunch in the room downstairs the next day.
None of my guests complained, and I was a guest in the hotel myself!
