Help deciding on dress

Help deciding on dress

Hi, everyone So far I have been to 5 places to try on dresses. Of all that I have tried, there are only two that stick out in my head. What I have been doing is trying the dresses on and seeing which one I think about later on. That's how I came up with the two that I'm considering. One of them is Demetrios and the other is David's Bridal. The lady at the boutique I went to today told me that if I got a dress from David's that it would basically fall apart. She was saying that the dresses there are made poorly. I was kind of sad to hear it because I was kind of leaning toward that dress. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the quality of David's dresses and how they tend to wear?

I had a David's dress and it did not fall apart, didn't have a pulled string on it. Thats just an example of someone trying to sell their own product. My friend and her sister both bought very expensive dresses for their weddings and they were both ruined by the end of the night, lace ripped, trim coming apart.

I LOVE my dress from David's Bridal, and it's in perfect condition. That lady is being very sly. Don't believe her!!

I am really glad to hear that. I've tried on at least 30 gowns so far and I just think theirs is one of the two nicest. I was kind of disappointed to hear that but what you both say makes a lot of sense.

LOL

of course the lady at the boutique would tell you that. she works on commission.

David's would not be a nationwide chain if their dresses fell apart.

and just so you know, a recent bride from '05 boards had her dress fall apart during her wedding and it was bought at Bridal Reflections, and was very expensive.

it's the seamstress that will make the difference in how the dress will hold up.
