HELP! Disney Dining Reservation lines busy! UPDATE!!!

What's up!?!?

Today's my day to call to make reservations.

7am is the time you can call, right?

I feel like I'm trying to win a million bucks!!!

Am I going to be shut out of everything? I have to get ready for work! I can't get through to ANY number!

Sarah - Were you able to get thru? Dont panick, I made my reservations during the 1st week that I was able to and I was able to get every place we wanted. They say it is the summer peak times when you get shut out. I think we are safe with Oct. /Nov.
Also, once you check into your hotel, I hear that if you want something that was booked, they find open reservations for you.
Good Luck

I wouldn't worry about it. Just keep trying. We just booked a trip to Disney in June during peak time and we were still able to get dining reservations. I'm sure going in Nov you won't really have a problem getting the reservations you want.

Re: HELP! Disney Dining Reservation lines busy!

okay... I finally got through at 8am, on my way to work. There go about 75 cell minutes!

Thanks for all the advice... I tried calling the hotel directly, but it didn't work. I was calling from my home # from 7-8 and got a constant fast busy... as soon as I got in my car at 8, I called from my cell and got right through! Go figure!!

I booked:

Fulton's Crab House
La Cellier
Garden Grill (lunch)
Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table (lunch)
Liberty Tree Tavern (early dinner)
Mickey's Christmas Party

Then my cell died.

I still have to call back and book:
Victoria and Albert's for our last night
Alfredo di Roma
Water Sports

I'm tired just thinking of all this!!!

Am I doing too much? Missing something? What do you think?

Sara - We originally booked the Luau and just changed it last week. I have heard that it is just 'ok'. The food is so-so and the show is a bit long and boring. So we booked the Hoop De Doo Revue in place of it which I heard is a lot of fun.

We did the Polynesian Luau a few years ago and wasn't too thrilled with it.

you're kidding? I just really wanted to do it because I wanted a taste of Hawaii in our trip...

Also, I figured the Hoop de Doo Review would be better with kids. We're doing SOOOO many character meals already!

Don't worry about booking all of these restaurants. Honestly, we went in August and had no problem making reservations the day before or day of at all of the places we wanted to go to. Don't stress.

We went in April and went to Le Cellier and Alfredos of Roma. Both were UNBELLIEVABLE!! My FH is a chef and agreed....both places have great ambiance and amazing food!! Hint: we went to alfredos of roma for an 8PM reservation and asked to sit outside, which had a great view of the fireworks show in epcot!! We also went to the mexican restaurant in Epcot..can;t think of the name, but very romantic. You'll have a great time at DIsney!!!

crap... forgot about the Mexican place. I wanted to do that, too. TOO MANY RESTAURANTS... NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!

Thank you! That's a great tip for the Italian place, which I was going to do our last day there, but now may move to our last NIGHT there so we can do the firework thing. THIS IS HARD TO PLAN!!

If you are anything like me, you wil be changing it around 500000000 times before you go there. But the reservation people have been great so far.
